What we shipped, and when.
Karsenics ships most weeks. These are the changes an organizer would notice, newest first, with the date and version each one went live. Small fixes are left out.

- Milton
One switch turns off Milton's AI for your team
When your Primary Administrator dismisses Milton, the AI-written explanations on the parade lineup switch off too. The numbers behind each placement still show, so nothing on the board goes blank.
- Reporting
TPS Reports check their own math
Each Stripe deposit is one row with its invoices inside, refunds in red. Four totals sit on top: deposited, on its way, Stripe fees and refunds. Every deposit says whether it adds up against what Stripe sent, or by how much it's off.
- Volunteers
Volunteer signup in four steps, with the age check you choose
Each event picks no age question, an 18+ confirmation, or a full birthdate. Setup won't let you drop the age check while a shift has a minimum age. Past shifts can't be claimed, days list in order, and unused team invites can be resent.
- Sponsors
A sponsorship checks out as one package
The booth and parade entry that come with a sponsorship ride in the cart as one bundle and carry one fee. Remove the sponsorship and its included entries go with it, so they can't slip through checkout on their own.
- Parade
Staging lanes you can grab and resize
Every lane shows an orange bar at each end. Drag it to lengthen or shorten the lane while the footage and remaining room follow your cursor, or type an exact length. It works from the keyboard too.
- Parade
Your parade rules, and walker math that measures road
Lineup rules that used to be fixed are now yours to set as a hard rule, a flag or off, per parade. A walking group now gets two numbers: room in the lineup area and road once moving. Three hundred walkers is about 235 feet of staging and 143 feet of street.
- Setup
Home's buttons open the exact record
When Home names one application, document or expiring certificate, its button opens that record, expanded and highlighted, instead of the top of a long list.
- Registration
Sort registrations and sponsors your way
Sort A to Z, oldest waiting first, or amount high to low when you're chasing money. Home's Needs you now list can be narrowed to one kind of work without losing the total count.
- Setup
An email log that says what went wrong
Every message KOS sent or tried to send, filterable to just the problems, with the reason on each one. On the booth map, Assign now brings the participant with you, and one click on an open space places them.
- Milton
The BOBS Review lists everything flagged, with the steps
See all groups every flagged item across Registrations, Volunteers and Sponsors. Open one and you get what was noticed, then the steps, each with a button to the exact screen, already filtered. The card disappears once the problem does.
- Milton
Ask Milton for a list of people
Ask which sponsors didn't renew or which vendors haven't come back, and Milton builds the list, tells you how many match and shows the names. Nothing is saved until you press Save.
- Milton
Milton is on for every organization, and can be dismissed
Milton's Office holds Reports, Communications and Growth, and Ask Milton is on every page. Your Primary Administrator can dismiss him from the first step of Event Setup and bring him back from the same card.
- Money
Milton answers money questions from your real figures
Ask what you've brought in and Milton answers from the same numbers as the Money card: paid, still owed, goal and last season. If a question could mean several things, he asks one narrowing question first. Only people with Money access get money answers.
- Setup
The guide is nine chapters, and searchable
Getting set up through event week and sign-off, one chapter at a time, with a search box that finds the matching question wherever it lives. Printing still gives you the whole guide.
- Event day
The gate, rebuilt for a phone in gloves
Every control is thumb-sized. A scan that matches nobody names your other lanes and gives the crew your day-of number, even with no signal. An arrival that hasn't synced yet says so on its own line. The Run on Karsenics mark no longer prints on your paperwork.
- Setup
Bulk email takes two clicks and shows the count
Nudge everyone and Email selected now arm first, turn red and say exactly how many people are about to be emailed, with Cancel beside it. Failed sends show in red instead of a calm grey box.
- Setup
A new season starts with no prices you didn't write
Every price category starts switched off and blank, so nothing is for sale until you price it. Home lists the setup you haven't finished, one item per thing, each opening the step that fixes it.
- Parade
Auto-arrange keeps performing units apart
Two entries that stop to perform never end up back to back, so eight acts in a row can't open a gap at the grandstand. Units that keep moving fill the space between them. You can make it a flag instead, or switch it off.
- Parade
Spacing checkpoints placed the way a marshal would
The simulation places checkpoints that hold a unit only until the gap behind it closes, never longer than the limit you set. When holds can't fix a gap, it says so and gives the stop length at the stand that would.
- Setup
Home is a board you arrange
Needs you now and This week stay at the top. Below, a card per module: money against last season, registrations, sponsors, volunteers, lineup, booth map, compliance and more. Pick the cards and drag them into your order.
- Parade
The lineup opens as one screen of lanes
Each lane folds to one line: entries, road used including staging gaps, room left and drawn length, with an over-length lane in red. Drag a unit onto any lane and it goes to the back.
August 2026
- Money
Early bird, standard and late pricing
Give any category up to five dated price bands, each with an optional cap that moves sales to the next band when it sells out. The price paid is locked onto the invoice. Registration now opens and closes at midnight in your own timezone.
- Registration
Cap entries by an answer
Limit how many entries give a particular answer, like how many bring a professional float. Once full, that choice shows as full with a short note instead of disappearing.
- Parade
Preview the auto-arranged lineup before it's saved
Every unit that would move is outlined in amber and nothing saves until you press Apply. If someone changes the board while you're looking, you're asked to run a fresh preview.
- Parade
The simulation knows where the parade stops and slows
Mark judges stands, performance areas and bottlenecks on the route. Only performing units stop, units behind them queue like traffic, and a bottleneck slows everyone for its length, so you see the gaps before the day.
- Sponsors
A sponsor dashboard that watches for slips
Revenue and pacing against goal, renewals, fulfillment of what you promised, and whether one partner carries too much of your revenue. The review flags an aging sponsor check or a benefit past due.
- Registration
A registration dashboard
Revenue pacing by event, your review and payment funnel, who's registering (paid or comp, first-timers or returning, where they're from) and day-of operations, with a review that flags applications waiting too long.
- Volunteers
A volunteer dashboard a board would trust
Shift fill rate, hours worked (and whether they're clocked or scheduled), no-show rate, returning volunteers and the dollar value of volunteer time for grant applications.
- Registration
Edit an entry in the cart
Every cart entry reopens with everything filled in, so changing one detail doesn't mean starting over. Add-ons can allow more than one per space, like up to four table and chair sets per booth.
- Event day
Check-in keeps working when the signal dies
Once a gate unlocks, the phone keeps a copy of its board. The crew keeps checking people in with no bars, and every queued arrival sends itself when the signal comes back. Nothing in the queue is thrown away.
- Event day
Every gate gets its own PIN
A shared link no longer opens a gate. Crew unlock with the event's PIN and their first name, so every check-in and override is on the record with a name.
- Reporting
The Sign-Off freezes the numbers your reports print from
When every registration is approved, one button signs the event off and locks setup and registrations. If it isn't ready, the screen names exactly what's in the way. Anything released afterward is logged with who and when.
- Registration
Close registration the moment you need to
One switch stops an event taking entries, whatever its dates say. The public page says it's closed by the organizers, and your setup team gets an email. Volunteer signup stays open unless you close it too.
- Setup
Permissions cover what a teammate can see
Money, registrations and setup permissions now control who can read those screens, not only who can change them. Someone without Money access can't open financial reports.
- Registration
Each event sets its own agreement
A parade and a march no longer share one set of terms. Every event has its own Agreements step, with a copy-to-other-events button when the terms really are the same.
- Sponsors
One sponsorship deck across your events
If your festival and parade are one sponsorship, build the deck once. The booth lands on the festival and the parade entry on the parade automatically.
- Parade
Two lengths per entry: staging and moving
The parade application asks how much room an entry needs in staging and how much road it takes in the parade. Staging length drives lane capacity; parade length drives the simulation. You can cap either one.
- Parade
Lanes refuse more parade than they can hold
Placing a unit where it won't fit is refused with the exact footage left, with Place anyway when you know better. If a lane gets shorter, units that no longer fit move to Unassigned and a banner says why.
- Maps
You decide what the public sees of your maps
Publish switches for the festival map, the parade route and exhibitor names all start off. Anyone who asked to stay off public pages stays off, whatever you switch on.
- Parade
Fix a float that shows up 90 feet instead of 40
Correct a unit's length, walkers, vehicles and type right on the lineup board, even after the order is locked. The lineup number never changes, and the original answer stays in the audit log.
- Parade
Pull a unit from the line without touching its registration
It drops off the board, the roster, the signs and the timing, and its number is retired so no one else stages under a sign already printed. Put back restores it.
- Maps
Your venue on a real street map
Search your venue and place booths and zones on the satellite picture, with real distances and no scale to calibrate. The parade map shows every unit staged in its lane, drawn to the length each entry gave.
July 2026
- Parade
Auto-arrange, simulate, and lock the lineup
One button assigns lanes and order, keeping loud units, animals and lights apart and leaving pinned entries alone. The simulation runs the line down your route. Locking gives late approvals a decimal number, so printed signs stay right.
- Reporting
Stapled Docs: every event document in five folders
Contractor, Festival, Parade, Volunteer and Site Maps. Each document downloads as a branded PDF or opens on a share link your day-of crew can check off from a phone without signing in.
- Reporting
Growth: your people across seasons
Build reusable lists like exhibited before, never sponsored, from everyone who has ever registered or volunteered, and message them through The Memo.
- Event day
Add-on delivery, unit by unit
Every purchased add-on gets a checkbox at the gate and in the admin, so "did booth 42 get its second power drop?" has an answer. A printable delivery report goes on the clipboard.
